The Commercial Brokers Association released to our members a new version of the Legal Library in the summer of 2005. The new version, "CBA Legal Library 2005", was redesigned to take advantage of all the functionalities available in Word 2003, and includes new features such as:
- Email documents from within the legal library application
- Fill in Fields can be edited in a centralized location of the document
- Auto population of repetitive data
- Export for Client Review allows recipients to edit documents outside the Legal Library environment
- Document Compare allows users to compare original documents against Export for Client Review documents
- Users can run any Word application and Outlook while Legal Library is running
- Auto updates via the web for latest application versions and template revisions
The new version of Legal Library was designed around the feedback we compiled over the years from version 4.0c users. We have addressed a lot of concerns regarding fixes and enhancements and we are pleased to release this new version built around our members' feedback.
The new version was also designed with the idea of taking the Legal Library 2005 to a fully web based solution so we can offer our members forms online.
