Jerry Sankey

Jerry Sankey joined Newmark as an associate in July of 2014.  Mr. Sankey is responsible for brokerage and business development in the Puget Sound region with a focus on the sale and underwriting of developable land and Class B and C multifamily properties.  

Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Sankey was an accomplished residential real estate agent in the greater Seattle area for 13 years. One of his career accomplishments included assembling the land for the developer of 63 high-end condominiums in the U-District in Seattle and the subsequent sale.

Prior to Mr. Sankey’s career in real estate, he developed his family's glass business which he eventually sold to a national chain. After the sale, he was retained as a sales manager. Mr. Sankey also spent 10 years in the Gulf of Alaska as a longline halibut fisherman. He is a native of Seattle and grew up in the Scandinavian neighborhood of Ballard.

Mr. Sankey is a licensed broker in Washington.
