Clayton Brown

Clayton Brown is the founder of Brown Retail Group, Marcus & Millichap’s premier retail investment sales team in the Pacific Northwest. Based out of Seattle, WA, Brown Retail Group specializes in investment sales and financing of single-tenant, multi-tenant and net-leased properties in the Pacific Northwest as well as nationally. As Managing Partner of Brown Retail Group, Clayton is responsible for all key business decisions and overall leadership, mentoring and oversight of the team’s day to day operations. In Clayton’s first year with the firm, Clayton received Marcus & Millichap’s Rookie of the Year award and has since went on to become a top producing retail investment sales agent in the western United States. Clay's current client base includes publicly traded institutions, corporations, private equity firms, franchisees, merchant developers and private investors. Clay attended Campbell University on a baseball scholarship where he posted a Division 1 second best batting average (.427) in his Junior year. In his personal time, Clay is an avid reader and enjoys fishing, being outdoors, cooking and spending time with his family.
