Washington’s commercial property sales market was strong in 2022 but decelerated sharply during the year's second half.
Summary Highlights from Q4 & Full Year 2022:
- At $17.6B, 2022 was the third-highest annual dollar volume of sales over the past decade.
- For 2022, there was an 18% drop in the number of transactions and a 20% drop in dollar volume compared to the prior year.
- Q4 2022 had the lowest quarterly sales velocity and sales volume of any quarter since Q1 2021.
