Join instructors Brandon Gribben and Michael Spence as they discuss governmental regulation, important Supreme Court cases, and laws that regulate land use at the federal and state levels.  Specifically, this 4-hour class will examine federal statutes under CERCLA (also known as Superfund), the Endangered Species Act, the Clean Water Act, and the Toxic Substances Control Act.  At the state level, the course will focus on the Growth Management Act of 1990, the State Environmental Policy Act, the Shoreline Management Act, and the Land Use Petition Act.  If you have ever wondered how land use is determined or issues associated with land use regulation, this interactive and informative class is for you.
