After completing Current Issues in Washington Commercial Real Estate (CORE) 2020-21 the attendee will be able to identify and describe common concepts relating to national and Washington state commercial real estate legislative issues.

Attendees will also be able to identify and describe common concepts relating to consumer-driven complaints/investigations/findings received/initiated/issued by DOL. Also, attendees will be able to identify and describe common concepts relating to current legal trends and issues around competition in commercial brokerage.

Attendees will gain an understanding of organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities, describe common real estate practices, and common concepts relating to risk avoidance. Compliance issues surrounding emerging real estate advertising techniques will also be covered.

Hunter Jeffers focuses his practice in real estate transactions and dispute resolution for real estate brokerages, multiple listing services, homeowners’ associations, developers and principals, and also has experience in the formation, reorganization, and acquisition of all types of business entities.

Hunter assists with the representation of the Northwest Multiple Listing Service, the Commercial Brokers Association, and several residential and commercial brokerage firms.
